Gentilello v. UTSW and Parkland - One Doctor's Fight for Proper Patient Care

"I asked Dr. Gentilello one time, I said, 'Larry, if you had it to do over again, would you take the stand, given what's happened to you and what this institution has done to you and your career?' And he said, 'You know Charla, if I had to do it over again, I'd never come to Dallas, Texas, and practice at UT Southwestern and Parkland. But once I made the decision to go there, it was an easy decision to stand up for patients.' And I know that our stand has saved lives and has benefitted patients who go to Parkland Hospital. And for that, I'm really, really proud."
