We are proud to announce that Attorney Heather Long was selected again to the list of “Rising Stars” by Texas Super Lawyers®.
Texas Super Lawyers® recently announced its list of “Rising Stars” and we are pleased to announce that Heather Long has again made the list! In each state, no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys receive the honor of being named “Rising Stars.”
“Rising Stars” recognizes attorneys who have achieved much in ten years or less in practice or attorneys who are 40 years or younger. Heather has been chosen for this honor since 2013.
Super Lawyers® uses a multiphase selection process to whittle down their finalized list. First, an attorney must be nominated by another attorney who has observed them in action. Once Super Lawyers® receives the nominations, they begin an independent review process based on 12 criteria, including verdicts and settlements, experience, and other outstanding achievements.
Finally, the attorneys undergo the “blue ribbon review” process in which peers evaluate each attorney by practice area. Lawyers with the highest point totals in both categories receive the honor of selection to the finalized list of “Rising Stars.”
