The recent train crash between a Union Pacific train and a float for wounded veterans in Midland, TX left the small community rocked. The “Hunt for Heroes” train wreck brought about a number of lawsuits against Union Pacific. A judge recently dismissed this suit brought against the railroad company by the family members of those killed and injured in the crash. The decision may be appealed.
