Charla Aldous Instructs at Program Hosted by Harvard Law School

|

Charla Aldous, Dallas trial attorney and the founder of the Aldous \ Walker, shared her extensive experience as a courtroom attorney with the students at Harvard Law School who were present at the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) National Trial College.

“It was exhilarating and rewarding to be part of this exhaustive program, which has so much to offer these young attorneys,” Ms. Aldous was quoted as saying of her chance to speak at the ABOTA National Trial College. “Not only was I able to see growth in these students and their trial skills, I also made lifelong friends.”

About the ABOTA National Trial College

A number of talented attorneys were asked to speak at the five-day course this year. Students of the ABOTA National Trial College are young attorneys who have been practicing for about three or four years. Components of the course include a mock jury trial, classroom teaching, hands-on exercises, and helpful critiques. The course is tough, intense, and designed to facilitate young lawyers looking to enhance their courtroom skills.

It is an honor for Ms. Aldous to be included in this prestigious panel of respected and accomplished educators. The team of instructors consisted of just 18 individuals—all top trial attorneys and judges, including past ABOTA presidents, who lead in their spaces and who attended the National Trial College at Harvard Law School from their communities around the nation.
