Aldous Law

The 16 year-old student was referred to as “Jane Doe II” in court proceedings and her family sued the Episcopal School of Dallas for gross negligence and fraud after the girl was wrongfully expelled from school following the discovery of her abuse by a 34 year-old teacher, Nathan Campbell. The jury, a six-person jury consisting of all female jurors, ruled in favor of the Doe family after nine weeks at trial.

In total, the family will receive approximately $9.2 million in compensatory and punitive damages. The family was represented by the Dallas trial lawyer Charla Aldous at Aldous Law.
