Dallas Trial, Appellate Lawyer Brent Walker Recognized on Texas Rising Stars List

DALLAS - Dallas' Aldous Law Firm is pleased to announce that firm attorney Brent R. Walker has earned a spot on the 2011 Texas Rising Stars listing of the state's top young lawyers.

Mr. Walker has been featured on the Texas Rising Stars list each year since 2007, and earned selection this year based on his work in personal injury litigation.

To compile the 2011 Texas Rising Stars list, researchers with Thomson Reuters' legal division asked attorneys across the state to name the best practicing attorneys in Texas age 40 or younger, and those who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Nominees then are screened by a blue-ribbon panel of lawyers, with fewer than 2.5 percent of all eligible lawyers earning the Texas Rising Stars distinction.

This year's Texas Rising Stars listing is featured in the April 2011 issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.

Mr. Walker represents plaintiffs in commercial litigation, personal injury claims and healthcare law matters at the trial and appellate levels. He earned his law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va.
